Dr. Brian Lawenda introduces various non-pharmacologic options that may be useful therapies in helping you better cope with chronic and acute pain (i.e. aromatherapy, meditation, acupuncture, botanical therapies, diet, cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnosis, reiki, yoga and many others.) These therapies can be used by themselves, together and/or in addition to your other pain treatments. Often these therapies work synergistically with your pain medications.
